Bush v. Alliance

Plaintiff, a developmentally disabled adult fell at care facility causing injury to himself. We represented Harbor Development Disabilities Foundation dba Harbor Regional Center. It is a private non-profit community agency organized by the California legislature under the Lanterman Act to coordinate care for people with developmental disabilities. HRC contracted with the other defendant Alliance of Abilities to provide services to their client. Plaintiff had a history of seizures and prior slip and falls. He suffered a head laceration in this case. Out of a global settlement of approximately 35k, our client HRC paid roughly 5k.
