Entertainment/Personal Injury case. A Beverly Hills car accident between an actress and producer’s wife. The actress claimed injuries too great to allow her to accept a paltry CCP Section 998 offer of $36,000, even after being urged to do so by a mediator. It resulted in a 9-3 defense verdict. The plaintiff’s mother recently paid off her cost bill.
