In this case, a college varsity soccer player from Chino came to a Hollywood nightclub to celebrate his birthday. While in the VIP section which requires bottle service, plaintiff was accosted by 30 aggressive patrons from a party bus. A brawl erupted where plaintiff was hit in the head by a vodka bottle and then attacked. Security did get plaintiff out of danger quickly. He did suffer bruises, contusions and a deep cut by his ear but no lasting damages and was back at college in a month. The original demand was $250,000 and we were able to settle this one early for under $20,000.
