Gasparro v. Hollywood Bowl

In this case, we defended concert promoter Andy & Bills Concerts in a slip & fall incident arising at the Hollywood Bowl during a Zak Brown Band Concert. Plaintiff claimed that spilt beer was a dangerous condition on the premises that caused her to fracture her right knee cap. Our client was not in charge of concessions or maintenance at the Bowl. Plaintiff was a poor witness who could not even remember the area in which she fell and none of her witnesses saw the spilt beer. Plaintiff’s original demand was $200,000. Her special medicals were over $200,000. We settled for nuisance value of $2500.
